#Janet is an accredited Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers tutor.

#Janet was a tutor at the Weavers, Spinners and Dyers Summer School 2011 and this is an excerpt from the Course Descriptor:

'Janet Renouf-Miller has been spinning since 1994. She ran 'The Byre' spinning and weaving supply and tuition business. She obtained her Certificate of Achievement in Handspinning in 1998. She has provided tuition in spinning on a wheel and spindle, dyeing, rigid heddle weaving, knitting and crochet since 1995 providing courses for Guilds, groups and knitting shops.

Janet publishes and sells her own booklets on spinning fancy yarns and natural dyeing. Her book 'How to spin - just about anything' is being published in November 2011. Over the years she has been involved in many projects. This has included using textiles in a care setting, in work for the Care Commission and in therapeutic work.'

#Janet is a member and past President of Dumfries & Galloway Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers. She also co-founded Ayrshire Handspinners 14 years ago.
