the same dye as is in the rainbow dye kit, but in a large size for the more serious dyer.  the dye powder comes in a 1l bottle to which you just add water.  the solution will then keep for at least a year.  SUITABLE FOR USE BY ADULTS OR BY SENSIBLE CHILDREN OVER 12 WITH ADULT SUPERVISION.

The dye also needs vinegar added to it when you use it. Colour choices are blue scarlet yellow turquoise violet magenta and black.

It is an easy way to learn about dyeing for those who have not tried it before and equally suitable for those with some experience.  It has simple to follow instructions with photos. Can also be used for other animal fibres such as alpaca or mohair.    Ideal for creating your own unique knitting yarns, for example, self-patterning sock yarns. Contains a colour palette of yellow, red and blue and black. This will enable you to produce "rainbow" colours when they naturally mix in the dyeing process and the colours can be individually mixed to produce virtually any other colour.

You will need to supply your own yarn or fibre to dye, some old newspaper, paper towels for any spills,  small microwaveable vessel, some cheap vinegar and a bit of cling film or plastic. Dyes can be used in the microwave or in a pot on the cooker.  Dyes will keep for a year once mixed.
