Dyes and dye kits
High quality dyes for wool, silk and other fibres.
Concentrated and without additives (eg powdered acetic acid) which cheaper dyes often have. A little dye gives a lot of colour. The acid used is vinegar and these dyes are safe if used sensibly (ie do not inhale dust when mixing powder). The dyes in kits are already in plastic bottles to minimise handling - you just add water.
Loose dyes
Colours available: Blue, Scarlet, Claret, lemon yellow, violet, turquoise, black (to use as a toner).

Acid dye starter kit. For wool and silk.
includes clear instructions and red, blue, yellow and black dye,

KNITTING KITS & Yarns
Note all yarns are individually hand dyed. Yarns vary and identical ones
are not repeatable, although similar shades will be available. There are always some surprises in the dye lot and you will get some other colours sneaking in which is part of the fun.

Yarns
Merino chunky lopi style yarn hand dyed. Per 200g £16.00
This versatile chunky yarn can be used for straightforward knitting
or to knit and then felt. Use 12-15mm needles & it knits up in no time.
It can be used for regular knitting but can also be used to make felted
knitting items and is an economical alternative to those sold by some
larger suppliers even though it is hand dyed. As used for tea cosy above.
Hat and scarf pattern also available free of charge with yarn.
Colours: Pale rainbow multi coloured. Other colours soon please ask.
Merino double knitting yarn hand dyed. In pinks and purples but dark
rather than pastel. Beautifully soft. Use any knitting pattern for
double knitting yarn. Per approx 100g hank £8.50
